Governor Beebe Announces 24 Appointments To Boards And Commissions

LITTLE ROCK - Governor Mike Beebe today announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:

Susan Carter, Jonesboro, reappointed to the Home Health Care Service Agency Advisory Council. Appointment expires June 30, 2012.

Dr. Jackson Cothren, Fayetteville, to the Arkansas Geographic Information Systems Board. Appointment expires August 1, 2013. Replaces Dr. Fred Limp.

Dr. Darren Flamik, Roland, reappointed to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council. Appointment expires July 1, 2012.

Thomas Flowers, Center Ridge, to the State Board of Workforce Education and Career Opportunities. Appointment expires June 30, 2016. Replaces Kathryn Scarsdale.

Dr. Edward Gardner, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Board of Hearing Instrument Dispensers. Appointment expires July 31, 2012.

Lawrence Hamilton, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Entertainers Hall of Fame Board. Appointment expires September 1, 2015. Replaces Don Wright.

Dr. Robert Kissell, Monticello, reappointed to the Arkansas Geographic Information Systems Board. Appointment expires August 1, 2013.

Dr. Margaret McMillan, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Geographic Information Systems Board. Appointment expires August 1, 2013. Replaces Phyllis Poche.

Dr. Marianne Neighbors, Lowell, to the Northwest Technical Institute Board of Directors. Appointment expires July 21, 2014. Replaces Marilyn Dotson.

Vicki Pennington, Bald Knob, to the Home Health Care Service Agency Advisory Council. Appointment expires June 30, 2012. Replaces Karon Beavers.

Jerry Richards, Fort Smith, to the Arkansas Board of Hearing Instrument Dispensers. Appointment expires July 31, 2012. Replaces Vivian Doyle.

John Riggs, Little Rock, to the State Board of Workforce Education and Career Opportunities. Appointment expires June 30, 2011. Replaces Justin Mitchell.

Jeremy Rowland, Cherokee Village, to the Professional Bail Bondsman Licensing Board. Appointment expires September 30, 2016. Replaces Eugene Reynolds.

Jamin Snarr, Rogers, reappointed to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council. Appointment expires July 1, 2012.

John Solomon, Fort Smith, reappointed to the Arkansas Board of Hearing Instrument Dispensers. Appointment expires July 31, 2012.

Kathy Wheatley, Fayetteville, reappointed to the Arkansas Entertainers Hall of Fame Board. Appointment expires September 1, 2015.

Donna Yingling, Searcy, to the Arkansas Apprenticeship Coordination Steering Committee. Appointment expires December 1, 2010. Replaces Jacinda Welch.
