Governor Beebe Announces 43 Appointments to Boards and Commissions

LITTLE ROCK - Governor Mike Beebe today announced the following education board appointment:

Greg Revels, DeQueen, to the Arkansas Higher Education Board. Appointment expires May 1, 2018. Replaces David Leech.

Governor Mike Beebe also announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:

Pat Audirsch, Marianna, to the Mississippi River Parkway Commission. Appointment expires June 8, 2015. Replaces Lois Boyd.

Jim Baker, Conway, to the Arkansas State Claims Commission. Appointment expires January 15, 2017. Replaces Bishop Steven Arnold.

Charley Baxter, North Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Development Finance Authority. Appointment expires January 14, 2017.

Aubrey Blackmon, Houston, reappointed to the Arkansas Beef Council. Appointment expires March 30, 2016.

Shirley Bolden-Bruce, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas State Board of Architects, Landscape Architects, and Interior Designers. Appointment expires April 26, 2018.

Anthony Brooks, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Development Finance Authority. Appointment expires January 14, 2017.

Curt Calaway, Fayetteville, reappointed to the State Kidney Disease Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2017.

Patty Cardin, El Dorado, to the South Arkansas Community College Board of Trustees. Appointment expires December 31, 2018. Replaces Sherrel Johnson.

Veronica Creer, El Dorado, reappointed to the South Arkansas Community College Board of Trustees. Appointment expires December 31, 2018.

Jamie Darling, Tuckerman, to the Arkansas Humanities Council. Appointment expires December 31, 2015. Replaces Clark Trim.

Harold Dean, Little Rock, to the Social Work Licensing Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2014. Replaces Nancy Streit-Atkinson.

Stephen Donnelly, Elkins, to the Arkansas Fair Housing Commission. Appointment expires February 1, 2016. Replaces Shanna Allen.

Mike Ellis, Hot Springs, to the Alcohol Beverage Control Board. Appointment expires January 14, 2017. Replaces Tony Ellis.

Roger Fitzgibbon, Jr., Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Independent Living Council. Appointment expires February 1, 2016.

Lynn Foster, Roland, reappointed to the Commission on Uniform State Laws. Appointment expires April 30, 2017.

Lynn Hawkins, Lexa, to the Arkansas Rural Development Commission. Appointment expires December 31, 2015. Replaces Wayne Nichols.
