Governor Beebe Announces 35 Appointment to Boards and Commissions

LITTLE ROCK - Governor Mike Beebe today announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:

John Beachboard, Little Rock, to the Public Health Advisory Board. Appointment expires November 1, 2017. Replaces Sam Culpepper.

Carol Bevis, Cabot, reappointed to the Arkansas Public Employees’ Retirement System Board of Trustees. Appointment expires March 9, 2018.

Raul Blasini, Pocahontas, reappointed to the Arkansas Minority Health Commission. Appointment expires January 31, 2016.

Jana Brady, Fayetteville, to the Arkansas State Board of Acupuncture and Related Techniques. Appointment expires July 31, 2015. Replaces Mark Arouh.

Mike Carter, Fort Smith, reappointed to the Arkansas-Oklahoma River Compact Commission. Appointment expires February 1, 2018.

Jim Clifton, Corning, to the Clay County Quorum Court, District 8. Appointment expires December 31, 2014.

Kari Coffman, Barling, reappointed to the Arkansas HIV/AIDS Minority Task Force. Appointment expires February 1, 2018.

Rhonda Davis, Clinton, reappointed to the Old State House Commission. Appointment expires March 19, 2023.

Glen Glover, El Dorado, reappointed to the State Rehabilitation Council. Appointment expires February 1, 2017.

Phyllis Gordon, Morrilton, to the Arkansas Rural Development Commission. Appointment expires December 31, 2017. Replaces Bood Keathley.

Gary Griffis, El Dorado, Southern Arkansas Community College Board of Trustees. Appointment expires December 31, 2016. Replaces Sam Chamberlin.

Sally Hardin, Booneville, reappointed to the Board of Developmental Disabilities Services. Appointment expires January 15, 2021.

Kaki Hockersmith, Little Rock, to the Governor’s Mansion Advisory Council. Appointee serves at the will of the governor. This is a new position.

Lynn Houston, Forrest City, to the Crowley’s Ridge Technical Institute Board of Trustees. Appointment expires June 30, 2016. Replaces Joe Williams.

Hugh Keller, Jr., Lonoke, to the Lonoke County Quorum Court, District 7. Appointment expires December 31, 2014. Replaces Adam Simms.

Dr. Daniel Kissinger, Fayetteville, to the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling. Appointment expires December 1, 2016. Replaces Dr. Dana Thompson.

Randy Laverty, Jasper, to the Board of Developmental Disabilities Services. Appointment expires January 15, 2018. Replaces Robert James.

Dr. Carmen Paniagua., Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Minority Health Commission. Appointment expires January 31, 2016.

Christopher Paslay, Brookland, to the State Rehabilitation Council. Appointment expires February 1, 2017. Replaces Mike McCreight.

Rick Reed, Prairie Grove, reappointed to the Arkansas Lifeline Verification Effort Corporation. Appointment expires January 30, 2017.

Mary Beth Ringgold, Little Rock, reappointed to the State Board of Health. Appointment expires December 31, 2017.

John Roberts, Little Rock, reappointed to the Old State House Commission. Appointment expires March 19, 2023.

Deborah Roy, Mountain Home, reappointed to the Arkansas HIV/AIDS Minority Task Force. Appointment expires February 1, 2018.

Connie Ryan, Jonesboro, to the State Board of Examiners of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors. Appointment expires September 14, 2017. Replaces Dr. William Viser.

Steve Smith, Mountain Home, reappointed to the Arkansas Lifeline Verification Effort Corporation. Appointment expires January 30, 2017.

Dr. William Snow, Mountain Home, to the State Crime Laboratory Board. Appointment expires January 14, 2016. Replaces Paul Bosson.

John Tate, Flippin, to the Marion County Quorum Court, District 7. Appointment expires December 31, 2014. Replaces John Kennedy.

Michael Teague, Jonesboro, to the State Board of Examiners of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors. Appointment expires September 14, 2015. Replaces Dr. Elizabeth Hooker.

Ed Vance, Benton, to the State Board of Collection Agencies. Appointment expires January 1, 2017. Replaces Jerry Markham.

Fred Vining III, Magnolia, to the Information Network of Arkansas. Appointment expires December 31, 2014. Replaces Glen Colvert.

Artee Williams, Maumelle, reappointed to the Arkansas Public Employees’ Retirement System Board of Trustees. Appointment expires March 9, 2020.

Jonathan Wolfe, Little Rock, reappointed to the Old State House Commission. Appointment expires March 19, 2023.
