Gov. Hutchinson Announces Spring 2017 Computer Science Tour of Arkansas Schools

LITTLE ROCK – Governor Asa Hutchinson today announced plans to visit several Arkansas schools throughout May to promote computer science among students and school districts. Schools, dates and times are listed below.

Governor Hutchinson issued the following statement: 

“I am excited to kick-off my fourth computer science tour to visit Arkansas high schools to generate support and excitement for our computer science and coding initiative. The more students take advantage of these courses in high school, the better prepared they will be to explore these in-demand fields in college and the workforce. 

“I look forward to visiting with students, teachers and administrators across the state, as we continue our work to make Arkansas a national leader in computer science education.”
