Governor Asa Hutchinson Announces Appointments

LITTLE ROCK – Governor Asa Hutchinson today announced the following appointments:

Judge Mike Smith, Wynne, as State District Court Judge for the Twenty-Fifth District, composed of St. Francis County. Appointment expires December 31, 2020. Replaces Judge Steve Routon. 

Emily White, Malvern, as State District Court Judge for the Thirty-Third District, which includes Grant County and Hot Spring County. Appointment expires December 31, 2020. Replaces Judge Sherry Burnett.

Deidre Luker, Russellville, as District Judge for the District Court of Yell County-Southern Division. Appointment expires December 31, 2018. Replaces Judge Kristin Clark.

Dr. Rhys Branman, Little Rock, to the Arkansas State Medical Board. Appointment expires December 31, 2022. Replaces Dr. Steven Cathey. 

Dr. Terry DeWitt, Arkadelphia, to the Arkansas State Board of Athletic Training. Appointment expires January 14, 2021. Reappointment. 

Natalie Trotter, Fayetteville, to the Arkansas State Board of Athletic Training. Appointment expires January 14, 2021. Replaces Lacye Vance. 

Matt Cashion, Little Rock, to the Contractors Licensing Board. Appointment expires December 31, 2022. Replaces John Baxter. 

Billy Craig Carney, Rogers, to the Contractors Licensing Board. Appointment expires December 31, 2022. Replaces Cecil Malone.  

Bill DeClerk, Fairfield Bay, to the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Board. Appointment expires January 14, 2020. Replaces Cory Hallmark. 

Sam Cecil, Russellville, to the Arkansas Beef Council. Appointment expires March 30, 2021. Reappointment. 

Bruce Jackson, Lockesburg, to the Arkansas Beef Council. Appointment expires March 30, 2021. Replaces Leo Sutterfield.

Gayther Crank, Lewisville, to the Red River Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2025. Reappointment. 

Bob Mouser, Harrison, to the Arkansas Lifeline Individual Verification Effort Corporation Board of Directors. Appointment expires March 30, 2021. Reappointment.

Greg Ashcraft, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Lifeline Individual Verification Effort Corporation Board of Directors. Appointment expires March 30, 2021. Reappointment. 

Michael Cotten, Benton, to the Arkansas Fire Protection Licensing Board. Appointment expires April 1, 2023. Reappointment. 

April Broderick, Sherwood, to the Arkansas Fire Protection Licensing Board. Appointment expires April 1, 2023. Replaces William Davis.

Justin Yates, Bentonville, to the Arkansas Fire Protection Licensing Board. Appointment expires April 1, 2023. Replaces Lonnie Cagle. 

Mayor Gary Baxter, Mulberry, to the Board of Trustees of the Arkansas Local Police and Fire Retirement System. Appointment expires January 1, 2022. Replaces Gary Carnahan.

Marcia Fuller, Fayetteville, to the Arkansas Psychology Board. Appointment expires December 31, 2022. Replaces Dixie Bryson. 

Jon David Bruning, Maumelle, to the Arkansas Spinal Cord Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2023. Replaces John Wyrick.

David Kinkade, Little Rock, to the Amusement Ride Safety Advisory Board. Appointment expires March 1, 2022. Replaces Tiffani Butler.

Jean Campbell, Fort Smith, to the Arkansas Motor Vehicle Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2024. Replaces Clyde Noel.

Judge Sandy Huckabee, Lonoke, as a Special Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Arkansas. CV-18-114 Miracle Kids Success Academy Inc. v. Marvin Henry Maurras.  Replaces Chief Justice John Dan Kemp, who has disqualified himself from the case.
