LITTLE ROCK, Ark.— On Thursday, January 26, 2023, the Governor signed into law:

HB 1023, an act to require flags purchased with public funds to be made and manufactured in the United States.

HB 1090, an act to separate the offices of sheriff and tax collector in Hempstead County.

HB 1100, an act to amend the purposes of urban service 10 districts; to add certain municipal services as purposes for which an urban service district may be formed.

HCR 1002, to encourage the United States Congress and National Security Council to review the status of forces agreement between the United States and Japan; and to review the investigation and trial of Navy Lieutenant Ridge Alkonis.

HCR 1005, to proclaim Religious Freedom Day.

SB 10, an act for the Arkansas Catfish Promotion Board appropriation for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.

SB 12, an act for the Arkansas Beef Council appropriation for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.

SB 46, an act for the Office of the Governor – Legislative Liaisons appropriation for the 2022-2023 fiscal year.
