Gov. Hutchinson to Speak at Texas Tribune Festival Saturday

LITTLE ROCK – Governor Asa Hutchinson today announced his participation in a panel discussion at the 6th Annual Texas Tribune Festival in Austin, Texas on Saturday, September 24 at 4:25pm CT. The panel will also feature Colorado Governor, John Hickenlooper.

The presentation of Gov. Hutchinson is entitled, The View from Elsewhere.  During the presentation, Gov. Hutchinson will focus on the healthcare reform efforts in Arkansas, job creation and computer coding in education.

The Texas Tribune Festival – kicking off its sixth year – is an annual event that focuses on local, state and national politics and policy. The festival will be held on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin. This year’s program runs from September 23-26 and will feature more than 250 speakers between 60 individual sessions on issues such as race and law enforcement and the 2016 presidential elections, among other timely topics.  Other notable speakers include former presidential candidates Governor John Kasich and Senator Ted Cruz.
