Governor Asa Hutchinson Signs Maternity Leave Bill into Law
LITTLE ROCK – Gov. Asa Hutchinson today signed into law a bill to provide paid maternity leave to state workers. SB 125 was introduced by Senator Missy Irvin and Representative DeAnn Vaught. The bill provides for four weeks of paid maternity leave for state agency employees.

Gov. Hutchinson Signs Higher Education Productivity Funding Formula into Law
LITTLE ROCK – Governor Asa Hutchinson today signed into law the Higher Education Productivity Funding Formula. The new funding formula will increase accountability by taking into account student success and program completion, whereas the previous formula was largely based on student enrollment.
