Governor Asa Hutchinson Announces Appointments

LITTLE ROCK – Governor Asa Hutchinson today announced the following appointments:

Thomas McArthur, Hot Springs, to the State Board of Barber Examiners. Appointment expires June 30, 2023. Reappointment.

Lori Griffin, Van Buren, to the Southern Regional Education Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2021. Replaces Johnnie Roebuck.

Adam Arroyos, Fayetteville, to the Career Education and Workforce Development Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2020. Reappointment.

D. Burton Weis, Fort Smith, to the Career Education and Workforce Development Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2020. Reappointment.

Jeff Standridge, Conway, to the Career Education and Workforce Development Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2020. Reappointment.

Scott Copas, Little Rock, to the Career Education and Workforce Development Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2020. Reappointment.

James Sharp, Harrison, to the State Board of Election Commissioners. Appointment expires May 28, 2021. Replaces C.S. Walker.

Robert Tillman, Little Rock, to the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy. Appointment expires June 30, 2020. Reappointment.

Robert Jordan, Hot Springs, to the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy. Appointment expires June 30, 2020. Reappointment.

Cheryl Anderson, Alma, to the Arkansas Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission. Appointment expires June 30, 2023. Reappointment.

Dr. Tanya Holt, Searcy, to the Arkansas State Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Appointment expires June 9, 2022. Replaces Dr. Julie Traylor-Logan.

Dr. Herman Ginger, Pine Bluff, to the State Board of Optometry. Appointment expires April 26, 2022. Replaces Dr. William Coffee.

Carey Smith, Little Rock, to the Board of Directors of the Arkansas Development Finance Authority. Appointment expires January 14, 2021. Replaces Larry Tate.

Amy Fore, Fort Smith, to the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy. Appointment expires June 30, 2023. Replaces Dr. James Burgess.

Dr. Kenneth Lancaster, Arkadelphia, to the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy. Appointment expires June 30, 2019. Replaces Dr. Kevin Robertson.

Dr. Rebecca Mitchell, Greenbrier, to the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy. Appointment expires June 30, 2023. Replaces Dr. Stephanie O’Neal.

Rajesh Chokhani, Little Rock, to the Board of Visitors for the University of Arkansas-Pulaski Technical College. Appointment expires June 30, 2024. Replaces James Herzfeld.

Daniel Moore, Corning, to the Board of Trustees of Black River Technical College. Appointment expires June 30, 2024. Replaces Paul Baltz.

John Jordan, Forrest City, to the Board of Directors of Crowley’s Ridge Technical Institute. Appointment expires June 30, 2021. Replaces Lynn Houston.

Kathy Frein, Brinkley, to the Board of Directors of Crowley’s Ridge Technical Institute. Appointment expires June 30, 2022. Replaces Glena Willard.

Jim Engstrom, III, Little Rock, to the State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors. Appointment expires July 1, 2021. Reappointment.

Kyle Salyer, Van Buren, to the State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors. Appointment expires July 1, 2021. Replaces Ronald Hawkins.

Joe St. Columbia, Sr., Helena, to the Mississippi River Parkway Commission of Arkansas. Appointment expires June 8, 2022. Reappointment.

Jim Craig, Stuttgart, to the Mississippi River Parkway Commission of Arkansas. Appointment expires June 8, 2022. Reappointment.

Tyler Dunegan, Osceola, to the Mississippi River Parkway Commission of Arkansas. Appointment expires June 8, 2022. Replaces Steven Son.

Detective Mark Fallis, Hot Springs, to the Law Enforcement Officers’ Memorial Design Committee. Serves at the will of the Governor. 

Lucien Gillham, Sr., Sherwood, to the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2026. Reappointment. 

Jeremiah Moore, Clarendon, to the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2021. Replaces Sally McLarty. 

Wayne Edwards, Lake Village, to the Arkansas Towing and Recovery Board. Appointment expires June 22, 2020. Reappointment.

Stephen Percival, Fayetteville, to the Career Education and Workforce Development Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2020. Replaces Michael Lindsey.

Shawn Jernigan, Alma, as a Justice of the Peace for the Crawford County Quorum Court, District 11. Appointment expires December 31, 2018. Replaces Carrie Jernigan. 

Michael Jeffcoat, Rogers, as a Justice of the Peace for the Benton County Quorum Court, District 5. Appointment expires December 31, 2018. Replaces William Burnett.

Lance Reynolds, Quitman, as a Justice of the Peace for the Cleburne County Quorum Court, District 11. Appointment expires December 31, 2018. Replaces Larry Goff.

Clint Everett, Oxford, as a Justice of the Peace for the Izard County Quorum Court, District 3. Appointment expires December 31, 2018. Replaces Glendon Everett. 

Fred Rausch, Springdale, as a Justice of the Peace for the Washington County Quorum Court, District 2. Appointment expires December 31, 2018. Replaces Roddy Lloyd. 

Jonathan Warren, Little Rock, as a Special Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Arkansas. CV-17-220 Kenneth W. Tilley, Individually and as a Trustee of the Kenneth Tilley Family Trust v. Malvern National Bank and Stephen Moore. Replaces Chief Justice John Dan Kemp, who has disqualified himself from the case.
