LITTLE ROCK, Ark.—Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:

Arkansas Fire Protection Services Board
Blake Hand, of Bryant, to serve on the Arkansas Fire Protection Services Board. Term expires on October 14, 2025. Replaces Jeffrey Pritchett. 
 
Benjamin Hammond, of Sheridan, to serve on the Arkansas Fire Protection Services Board. Term expires on July 28, 2026. New position established. 
 
Jason Wills, of Jonesboro, to serve on the Arkansas Fire Protection Services Board. Term expires on July 28, 2026. New position established. 
 
Monroe County Quorum Court
Kenneth Warrick, of Roe, to serve as the Justice of the Peace for District 9 of Monroe County. Term expires on December 31, 2024. Fulfills the remaining term of Franklin Davis.
 
Hempstead County Quorum Court
John Scott Gunter, of Hope, to serve as the Justice of the Peace for District 5 of Hempstead County. Term expires on December 31, 2024. Fulfills the remaining term of Robert Whitlock.
 
Hot Spring County Quorum Court
Chris Morrison, of Bismarck, to serve as the Justice of the Peace for District 11 of Hot Spring County. Term expires on December 31, 2024. Fulfills the remaining term of Dennis Fletcher.
