LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On Monday, March 13, 2023, the Governor ceremoniously signed HB1458, to create the Vincent Parks Law; to require instructors complete training on the recognition and management of certain health conditions; and to declare an emergency.

“Protecting and supporting our heroic police officers should start long before they are ever on the streets,” Sanders said. “This bill will help us do that in close consultation with the law enforcement leaders who run our state’s training programs.”
